Ivan has considerable expertise within the property industry in Ireland and manages a great team of experienced property professionals across Ireland. Ivan started his career with Sherry FitzGerald in 1999, initially working in the Business Space Department within DTZ Sherry FitzGerald (now Cushman & Wakefield). After qualifying as a chartered surveyor, Ivan made the move to Sherry FitzGerald New Homes where he specialises in residential development land, mixed use developments and portfolio work. Ivan is a member of ULI (Urban Land Institute) and Chair of Property Industry Ireland (PII).

John Spain is the founder of JSA and now holds the role of Consultant at JSA. John has over thirty years of experience in planning and development in Ireland and the UK. In that time, he represented a large number of private and public sector clients and has been involved in a wide range of diverse projects. Prior to establishing JSA, John was Associate Director of Hillier Parker, a leading UK firm of chartered surveyors and planning consultants. John has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin and a Master’s Degree in Regional and Urban Planning from UCD.

Mark is a seasoned executive and independent non-executive director with over 30 years of international leadership experience in the property and infrastructure sectors. Leveraging his commercial expertise, Mark has held a range of senior management positions within the Sisk Group and, more recently, joined the Board of the international business, the Collen Group. He is widely recognized for his proven track record in driving business growth and delivering successful transformation projects within the private and public segments of the construction industry.
Mark now operates independently, consulting with both public and private sector organizations. In this capacity, he advises executive leadership teams and serves as a Non-Executive Director and independent Chair across various boards, where his strategic insight, financial oversight, risk management, and governance expertise are highly valued.
Mark is an active in various industry forums, including the SCSi and Ibec PII.
Tony oversees Glenveagh’s end-to-end operational strategy, ensuring seamless execution of planning, delivery and commercial performance while driving innovation and continuous improvement across the business.
He is the primary driver of Glenveagh’s MMC strategy, leading the integration of modern construction technologies to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
Tony manages the delivery of large-scale residential projects across Ireland, aligning strategic and commercial objectives with operational excellence.
Known for his collaborative and hands-on leadership style, he plays a central role in advancing Glenveagh’s mission to build high-quality homes and thriving communities across the country.
Michael O'Flynn is the Chairman and CEO of the O’Flynn Group. Established in 1978, as a house building company and which progressed into one of the largest property development companies in Ireland. O’Flynn Group has extensive investment, development, and asset management capability in the core property sectors (especially residential, student accommodation, offices, industrial and retail). He is a founding member of Property Industry Ireland and most recently a member of the Irish Housing Commission.

Rory was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ronan Group in 2019. He was a solicitor and partner in the corporate and commercial department of Arthur Cox, before serving as general counsel of Treasury Holdings, Ireland’s largest property developer, and as chief legal officer of Ervia, Ireland’s state-owned gas and water utility. Rory has been involved in many major real estate projects, including Spencer Dock and Battersea Power Station. He was one of the founders and directors of Forterra Trust, a leading real estate developer in China, which was listed on AIM and subsequently on the Singapore Stock Exchange.

Patrick is a chartered accountant and a Business Graduate of Trinity College Dublin. Under his leadership, D/RES has established itself as one of Ireland’s leading residential developers. With a strong emphasis on sustainability and innovation, the company has delivered landmark projects including Ireland’s first Net Zero Carbon public buildings, the first large-scale Passive House scheme in the country, and the award-winning Positive Living Micro-Grid at Tinakilly Park.

His career spans across EMEA, where he has led cross-border transactions and cultivated a strong global network for deal sourcing, investment, and strategic partnerships.
With twenty-five years’ experience in the areas of environment, planning and climate change, Brendan has been recognised as an expert in both planning and environmental law at national and EU level, having advised regulatory authorities, statutory bodies, local authorities and developers on the delivery of a wide range of local and national projects.
