The Digital Health Forum is a key industry event led by Ibec’s Digital Health Working Group, spanning BioPharmaChem Ireland, Irish Medtech and Technology Ireland. The Forum has been recognised as an Associated Presidency Event as part of Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026, reflecting the Government’s recognition of digital health as a strategic priority.
Designed to explore how emerging technologies are transforming healthcare, the Forum is built around the Working Group’s core pillars of awareness, advocacy and collaboration. It brings together policymakers, healthcare leaders and industry experts across digital health, AI, data science, cybersecurity, skills and leadership.
This full-day event centres on a series of panel discussions addressing key themes, including the alignment of Ireland’s digital health strategy with EU priorities, the implementation of the European Health Data Space, and the evolving digital health landscape across Ireland and Europe. These discussions are complemented by industry case studies, providing practical insights into how digital innovation is being applied across healthcare systems.
The Forum will provide a platform to share insights, strengthen partnerships and contribute to shaping the policy, skills and business environment needed for the sector to thrive. It is open to members of Irish Medtech, Technology Ireland and BioPharmaChem Ireland.
