Changes to tips and service charges rules will apply from 1 December

The Payment of Wages (Amendment) (Tips and Gratuities) Act 2022 which became law on 20 July 2022 is due to come into force on 1 December. From that date onwards, employers will be required to display information on how tips, gratuities and mandatory charges are shared or distributed among staff.
