Ruling of German Labour Court limits Unions' digital access rights
The digital path is an obvious approach for trade unions to recruit new members in the digital age but to what extent must employers provide unions with digital access in the workplace? The answer is not at all, according to a recent ruling of the Federal Labour Court in Germany which found that employers are not obliged to grant trade unions access to employees via the company's internal digital communication channels.
