In the pipeline 2026 - summary of employment related measures on the horizon in the new year
A number of changes in the pipeline for 2026 are set to increase costs and add to the administrative burden for employers. These include the full implementation of the auto-enrolment pension scheme, an increase in the National Minimum Wage and the transposition of the EU Pay Transparency and Platform Workers Directives.
