Employment rights of seasonal workers
Certain industries are subject to seasonal fluctuations in business, in retail and hospitality for example, the summer months and Christmas period are often busier trading periods than other times of the year. Opportunities to work for a seasonal operation are also frequently found in horticulture or agriculture as well as tourism and construction.
