Employer Defends Equal Pay Claim Using 'Red-Circling'
Four female employees at a transport hub took their employer to the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC), claiming they were victims of gender-based pay discrimination. Represented by the trade union SIPTU in their co-joined cases, the women argued they performed identical work to two male colleagues but were paid significantly less.
