Accessibility
This page describes the steps we have taken to ensure that the Ibec website is accessible to everyone.
Ibec is committed to producing online content that can be accessed by all our visitors.
Pages on the Ibec website adhere to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C), Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and aim to comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Level-AA standard as a minimum.
We are always keen to hear about how we can improve the services we provide. If you have any difficulties using this website, please email us at websupport@ibec.ie
Accessibility standards
In accordance with best practice, this site uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for layout and formatting. If your device does not support stylesheets at all, the content of each page is still readable and usable.
Portable Document Format (PDF)
This site uses PDF files. To view PDF files, you might need to download and install a PDF reader. The Adobe website offers:
Adobe Reader free download (external website)

Help if you’re having problems accessing documents
If you have any problems accessing the documents published on the Ibec website, please email websupport@ibec.ie and we will supply you with the document in an accessible format.
Currently non-accessible content
While some PDF, audio content, podcasts and video content might not be currently accessible, we are working on making all non-HTML content accessibility compliant (STAS-F20 and STAS-F17).
Accessibility options for your web browser
Many web browsers have accessibility features, which help you use the web in the way suits you best.
Note: Older browsers, such as Internet Explorer 11, may struggle to display the Ibec website as it is intended to be seen. Upgrade your browser for free for a greatly improved online experience or ask your network administrator to upgrade for you.
