What we do
BPCI collaborates with member companies and the broader ecosystem to support the development of implementation strategies across our working groups and task forces. As part of Ibec, we lobby government, policymakers, and other key stakeholders with evidence-based policies designed to positively shape business conditions and drive competitiveness and economic growth. Through our relationships with international trade associations, we ensure that the voice of the Irish Biopharma sector is heard overseas, and as international policies and regulations shift, we ensure that relevant updates are communicated to our membership.
Under this pillar, BPCI members can engage in discussions centred on domestic, European, and global topics of interest. Activities include knowledge sharing, peer to peer learning, input into BPCI government submissions and policy positions, and the facilitation of networking opportunities through industry initiatives, workshops, forums, webinars, and presentations from external experts in national and EU policy.
