This meeting of the Inclusive Leadership Forum will focus on age inclusion, reframing retirement and fostering inclusion at every stage of a person's career.

A successful retirement extends far beyond financial readiness. It relies heavily on factors such as identity, mindset, purpose, belonging, and confidence. The Forum will hear from designer, entrepreneur, and founder of Futurhythm, Sonya Lennon, who will explore how organisations can take a more holistic, age-inclusive approach to supporting their people. Sonya will open a broader discussion on workforce ageing strategies, examining how early-life planning, the retention of invaluable tacit knowledge, the development of multigenerational teams, and an understanding of gender-related wellbeing considerations can unlock lasting value for both employees and organisations.

This will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Sam Riggs, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Manager, Iarnród Éireann, Orla Gardner, Senior Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, ESB, and John McCormack, Head of Employee Relations, An Post who will share insights into their approaches to managing an ageing workforce and supporting colleagues as they transition towards retirement. The panel will discuss practical approaches to supporting employees through retirement transitions and managing the pace of work across career stages.
