Her specialist areas include programmes which focus on Leadership and Team Development, Change Management and Mental Health and Well-being. Genevieve develops and delivers bespoke leadership and people management programmes for companies. As a senior trainer with Ibec Academy, she currently provides a broad range of management training, coaching and mentoring for teams and individuals bringing together her academic learnings and understanding of the business world to support companies and managers in overcoming the challenges of managing a successful team/business.
Prior to starting her own learning and development business, she had a very successful and varied career as a Senior Manager in financial services which included over 30 years in retail banking, leadership, change implementation/management and operations management.

Paula Cogan is CEO at Cognate Health a role which she commenced during a global pandemic in September 2020. Cognate Health is a leading provider of Occupational Health Services throughout Ireland and is currently expanding into UK and EMEA. Services include a range of on site and virtual medical services for employees of large MNCs, SMEs as well as Government bodies and Educational Institutes.
Paula has recently been appointed to the board of daa and sits on the governing body of MTU (Munster Technological University) and The Glucksman Gallery at UCC. She completed her primary and postgraduate studies at UCC and in 2015 undertook a Diploma in International Sales and Marketing at Cornell University. A huge advocate for lifelong learning, in 2021 Paula completed a diploma in Corporate Governance and is currently completing a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion at MTU.
She served as President of Cork Chamber from 2018 to May 2022 and is the second female to serve in that role for 205 years.
