Aoife McFadden Senior Employment Law Solicitor, Employment Law Services Team, Employer Relations Division, Ibec

Aoife is a senior employment law solicitor in the Employment Relations Division within Ibec. She is a graduate of University College Dublin, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Politics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Dublin Institute of Technology before qualifying as a solicitor in 2001. Aoife previously worked in private practice where she gained broad practice experience joining Ibec’s Employment Law Services team in 2017. She is member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association Committee of Employment Law and has lectured and tutored on the Law Society professional practice courses for solicitors.

Harry Wall
Harry Wall Employer Relations Division, Ibec

Harry joined the Employment Law Services Unit from the employee relations team of a leading multinational medical device company. He is a graduate of NUI Galway, where he obtained Bachelor of Industrial Engineering and Bachelor of Laws degrees, and a master’s in law, Technology & Governance. Harry qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and worked extensively in private practice as a specialist employment law solicitor. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor Harry built up ten years industry experience working as an engineer across a variety of sectors and for a number of leading multinational companies and brings this considerable experience to bear in the management of complex workplace and organisational issues.

Denis Lyons
Denis Lyons Head of Investment, Aon Ireland

Denis has over 20 years’ experience in the pensions industry, and has held various roles in entities such as Aon and Willis Towers Watson. He has a strong background in investment consulting with expertise in investment strategies and a variety of managerial roles.
Denis has held a variety of positions at Aon Solutions Ireland Limited since he joined there 12 years ago, such as Senior Investment Consultant and Head of DC Investment. Presently, Denis is Head of Investment at Aon Solutions Ireland Limited, where he currently leads the investment team by managing the continued development of institutional investment solutions.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland and holds a BSc in Actuarial Maths and Statistics, having graduated from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh in 2001 with a first-class honours degree. He is also a past member of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland Pensions Committee.

Caroline Rowan
Caroline Rowan Senior Consultant AON Ireland

Caroline joined Aon in June 2007, having spent her early career with Mercer. She is the Head of Master Trust for Aon’s Wealth Solutions business in Ireland. ​

As well as responsibility for Aon’s Master Trust proposition, Caroline has acted as Retirement Consultant for a small number of Aon's largest clients. With over 19 years of industry experience, Caroline has a comprehensive knowledge of the legislative, financial and commercial background to occupational pension schemes in Ireland. She has strong experience in all aspects of the management of defined benefit, defined contribution and cross-border arrangements and also in areas such as scheme establishment, documentation, risk benefit arrangements, communications and risk management.​

Caroline’s experience to date has always involved being part of the client facing team assisting pension scheme trustees, companies and senior executives in the management of their employee benefit arrangements. She presently leads The Aon Ireland MasterTrust, is deputy leader of Aon’s IORP II implementation project team, and is a former member of the IAPF’s Defined Contribution Committee. Caroline also sits on Aon’s Irish Diversity & Inclusion Council.
