New rules on tips expected to take effect from December
The Payment of Wages (Amendment) (Tips and Gratuities) Act 2022 became law on 20 July 2022. The Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment is expected to publish the related Regulations by the end of October with a view to commencing the Act from December 1st.
