Amended Payment of Wages Act to give employees right to tips paid by credit or debit cards
DEASP Minister Regina Doherty has received Government approval to expand the scope of the planned updated Payment of Wages legislation so that, in the future, employees will have a right to receive customer tips and gratuities paid electronically by debit and credit cards.
Right to request remote work for all workers to be introduced through the DCEDIY Work Life Balance Bill
The Government earlier this month approved the integration of the Right to Request Remote Work for all workers in the Work Life Balance and Miscellaneous Provisions Bill which is expected to be delivered by the end of the year.
