This strategy sets out the steps FSI considers necessary to drive the growth of Ireland’s financial services industry in the 2026–2030 period. It is calibrated to solidify and build on the industry’s existing strengths and grasp the opportunities that can take us to a new level of excellence and innovation.

FSI’s role will be to act as the force for co-ordination and amplification, shaping enabling policies, delivering member value, and positioning Ireland to benefit in the global context.

The strategy focuses on three interconnected strategic pillars, which are:

  • Embed: Maintain Ireland’s position as a leading and broad global financial services centre.
  • Evolve: Leverage our strong foundations to grow, innovate and compete in new products and services.
  • Enable: Build the underpinning capability to support our Embed and Evolve ambitions.

This strategy is a call to action for all who want to build on the success of Ireland’s financial services sector. We see this five-year strategy as a catalyst for action and delivery.

FSI has begun its work to ensure that Ireland maintains its position as a leading financial centre, while building further credentials in innovation and excellence in financial services.
