An Ibec campaign to bring a contemporary understanding to Ireland’s Experience Economy. The Experience Economy comprises of businesses and a workforce which operate across multiple sectors in Ireland as well as encompassing organisations in the arts, cultural, sporting, and heritage sectors. Across its domain are hospitality, retail, travel, food, drink, tourism, entertainment, events and activity combining together to deliver transformative experiences to visitors.
Looking ahead as NPHET recommendations welcomed
In his latest update to Ibec members, CEO Danny McCoy welcomes the recommendations from NPHET that the majority of Covid-19 public health restrictions can be safely lifted. This will mark an important next step towards recovery for many industries, including the Experience Economy which bore much of the burden of previous restrictions. In addition, he reflects on the role that business will continue to play in tackling gender-based violence and in addressing its root causes in gender inequality, supporting a cultural change in how we discuss women, men and gender. Finally, he looks ahead to next week's launch of a major new campaign from Ibec.
