Talks continue on new public sector pay deal
Talks between public sector unions and officials from the Department of Public Expenditure at the Workplace Relations Commission entered their 10th day on Friday 30 October. Union leaders indicated earlier in the week that if an acceptable agreement was not reached by the weekend, it would leave unions with no alternative but to escalate the action in November.
