Latest public service pay increase came into effect this month
The third phase of the current public service agreement (2024-2026) involving a 1% increase in pay “or €500, whichever is greater” came into effect on 1 October 2024. This follows a general round increase in annualised basic salary for all public servants of 2.25% on 1 January 2024 and of 1% on 1 June of this year.
