Compensation awarded to worker for breach of sick leave act
A staffing agency has become the first company in Ireland found to be in breach of the Sick Leave Act 2022. In a Workplace Relations Commission decision published on 27 February 2024, the company, was ordered to pay €450 to worker on foot of a complaint under the Act.
