Sustainable Business Practices Report
Engineering Industries Ireland is proud to introduce our first Sustainable Business Practices Report, which offers an insightful overview of sustainability efforts of our members. This report, based on data collected from one-third of our membership, sets a benchmark for assessing progress in the coming years.
The survey evaluated sustainability practices through an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) lens, covering:
- Environmental: Energy use, GHG emissions, pollution control, water and waste management, biodiversity, and the circular economy.
- Social: Health and safety, wage standards, training, working conditions, community involvement, diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.
- Governance: Anti-corruption measures, risk management, and business continuity.
Our findings not only serve as a performance baseline but also highlight positive sustainability initiatives within our membership.
