What we do

Facilities management companies must consider functionality, comfort, safety and efficiency of a built environment when integrating people, place, process and technology. There is a lot that a facilities management company must do in order to be a success.

With this is mind the Facility Services Network was established. Meeting three to four times a year including a dedicated webinar for the network, this group explores their challenges with the help of industry experts, Ibec experts and ultimately the shared knowledge and experience of the group.


Past areas/topics covered include, commercial contracts, rent reviews, asset management, insurance, fire and emergency planning, managing contractors and tendering.

Facilities Managers Network

The Facilities Managers Network is a knowledge sharing forum for those with responsibility for facilities management in their organisations. The group encourages participants to share their wealth of experience with the support of industry and Ibec experts.

The main focus of this group is to share best practice on key issues faced for facilities managers including the challenges as they re-open/prepare to re-open such as, health and safety, building management systems, staff access, managing chemicals, cleaning and sustainability.

Due to the scale of challenges facing facilities managers as a result of COVID-19 we are holding fortnightly meetings. These will reduce as the need for support lessens to meeting three to four times a year.
