Join us for Ibec's first Inclusive Leadership Forum of 2026, in person at Ibec on 3 March.
In celebration of World Hearing Day, we are delighted to be joined by Caroline McGrotty, Accessibility Specialist and Access Officer, ESB. A passionate advocate for accessibility, equality and inclusive workplaces and holds qualifications in Deaf Studies, Equality Studies and Irish Sign Language Teaching, Caroline will provide insights on how employers can develop confidence in how to approach, communicate with, and support Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals in the workplace and beyond. Attendees will learn how assistive technologies can be used effectively in work and daily life to support communication and how this can be woven into your accessibility approach to events and meetings for employees and customers alike.
Dara Ryder, CEO, Ahead will join us to provide an overview of the WIDE (Widening Inclusion of Disability in Employment) framework, which is a platform that supports organisations in hiring, retaining and promoting people with disabilities, and building more inclusive workplaces.
Also on the agenda, as we approach the celebration of International Women's Day and this year's theme #GiveToGain, our forum chair Michelle Cullen will be joined by panellists Aisling McNiffe, Senior Executive, Financial Services Ireland and Siobhán McKenna, ED&I Policy Lead, Public Service Workforce Division, who will share insights on the Women in Finance Charter and the Civil Service Arc Returner Programme, both initiatives are contributing to women's advancements within organisations.
