We are pleased to begin the year with an in‑person HR Forum followed by our popular HR clinic. To get you started for the new year, the forum will cover a mix of topics from practical information on employment supports for employers employing people with disabilities and the key developments in employment legislation that will take place in 2026.

Agenda highlights
- Disability in the workplace supports - Niall Lane, Employer Relations Officer, Intreo and Megan O’Sullivan Sweeney, Policy Executive, Ibec will discuss the full range of financial supports available to employers from Intreo to support employees with disabilities.
- Equality- Catriona McKeating, Associate Legal Director, Ibec will consider recent case law and discuss best practice for the provision of reasonable accommodation in the workplace
- Legislative changes for 2026- Harry Wall, Associate Legal Director, will provide an overview of anticipated legislative developments for 2026.
The forum will be followed by a drop-in clinic for members who wish to discuss these and other employment issues. It is also a great opportunity to meet with our experts in our Advocacy, Knowledge Centre and Legal teams as well as HR peers in an informal setting.
