Ibec is hosting a unique event to launch the Department of Transport’s Logistics & Supply Chain Skills Week 2024 and open the week of events.

Ireland’s Logistics and Supply Chain sector is faced with challenges such as talent shortages, post Covid and Brexit shocks and ongoing geo-political challenges. To tackle this problem the government established ‘Logistics and Supply Chain Skills Week 2024’ to help develop talent and foster this critical driver of Ireland’s economy.

Our free morning conference will explore the crucial role that Diversity & Inclusion can play in futureproofing Ireland’s vital supply chain network. To address this theme, we have gathered a panel of leaders in the supply chain space with a wealth of experience in managing diverse workforces across cultural barriers and have utilised diversity & inclusion to expand their operations and tackle the many challenges facing the sector.

Keynote Speakers on the day will include:

  • Minister Jack Chambers - Minister of State, Department of Transport
  • Danny McCoy – CEO, Ibec
  • Catriona Hallahan – Non-Executive Director, Coach, Business Transformation Consultant and ex. MD, Microsoft Ireland
