Introduction of pension auto-enrolment now expected in second half of 2024
The timeline for the launch of pension auto-enrolment was recently pushed out to the second half of 2024. With an estimated 750,000 workers in the country currently having no private pension, the Minister for Social Protection Heather Humphreys had originally hoped to launch the planned landmark scheme early next year.
