WRC finds Sales Worker’s discrimination claim following non renewal of post retirement fixed term contract, not well founded

A WRC Adjudication Officer has held that there was no ambiguity in the original retirement clause in the Complainant’s contract or in their letter requesting to work past the retirement age. Moreover, the AO also noted that he had recommenced working on a “Post Retirement Fixed Term Contract of Employment” with an expiry date that he had signed and agreed.
