The importance of robust documentation and clear processes was reinforced in a WRC determination in the case of A Worker v Local Authority [2025]. The case centred on a claim taken by a long serving employee who argued that that he had been unilaterally redeployed to another work location as an informal disciplinary sanction without being afforded fair procedures and natural justice.
