Retail Ireland Monitor July 2021

Consumer sentiment continues to rise and new retail sales figures point towards the release of significant pent up demand in categories previously subject to Covid restrictions. However, the delayed reopening of indoor hospitality, along with the lack of office workers and tourists, means footfall is a challenge. The full reopening and rejuvenation of our town and city centres is a key priority, while at the same time keeping costs under control.
