Public Affairs

Food Drink Ireland’s Public Affairs Group compromises public affairs and corporate relations professionals from member companies.  The group meets quarterly to discuss a range of issues that impact the reputation and function of the food and drink industry.  More specifically, the group is engaged in a variety of areas including reformulation, responsible marketing, public health policy, and labelling requirements.  The Public Affairs Group also receives updates on European legislation that will have a direct impact on the domestic market.

Food Drink Ireland members regularly liaise with key political and regulatory stakeholders to advance public health initiatives.  The group regularly invites contributions from public affairs partners, trade associations and industry stakeholders for updates on a variety of initiatives that are the food and drink sector is engaged in.   

The Public Affairs Group provides a platform for its members to exchange ideas, information, and perspectives on how to best promote better health and nutrition.
