The EU NIS2 Directive will apply from 18 October 2024 and introduce cyber security risk management and cyber incident reporting requirements for many organisations in Ireland.
NIS2 will apply to the following sectors:
Energy, transport, banking, financial market infrastructure, health, water (drinking and waste), digital infrastructure, ICT service management (B2B), public administration, space, postal and courier services, waste management, chemicals (manufacture, production and distribution), food (production, processing and distribution), manufacturing, digital providers, and research.
We will be joined by representatives from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the Department for the Environment, Climate and Communications (DECC), and Munster Technological University (MTU) to discuss the law and cyber resilience along the supply chain.
