Supporting employees on the journey to parenthood

October 31, 2024

We are delighted to extend an invitation to our rescheduled in-person HR forum focused on supporting employees on their journey to parenthood.

Navigating this journey can be a deeply personal and complex experience for employees encompassing events such as fertility treatment, surrogacy, Donor Assisted Human Reproduction (DAHR) and miscarriage. Understanding and supporting these diverse experiences is crucial for fostering a compassionate and inclusive workforce.

During the forum Ibec’s Sinead Wallace, Associate Legal Director and Magda Kozub, Employer Relations Executive, will cover key policy developments, statutory leave entitlements, and provide insights on the practical ways in which employers can support employees on this journey.

We will also be joined by Mags Gribben, Head of DEI, Susanne Kane, DEI Specialist and Ruth Heenan, Employee Relations and IR Manager from Irish Life Group, who will provide insight into the supports Irish Life offers through their Life Matters policy and other initiatives.
