Irish Medtech Awards finalists reflect sector’s impact transforming lives through innovation

Irish Medtech, the Ibec group that represents the medtech sector, Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland today revealed the finalists of the Irish Medtech Awards 2025, which are held as part of Medtech Rising, 3-4 December, in The Galmont, Galway.

Dr Eoghan Ó Faoláin, Irish Medtech Director, said:

“As a global medtech hub Ireland has a proud history of innovating for the future to transform lives. This has been reflected in the high calibre entries for the Irish Medtech Awards 2025, and I’d like to thank all those who took the time to share their success stories with us by submitting entries. The quality and quantity of entries means it was no mean feat standing out, and I’d like to congratulate those who have are now competing as finalists. The winners will be revealed at Medtech Rising, 3-4 December, in The Galmont Galway.

“This incomparable event attracts in excess of 400 senior leaders annually to network and get ahead of the latest trends. This year’s two day event will span Medtech Connect+ where startups will showcase disruptive innovation, followed by sessions on global game changers, bridging the gap to innovate for patients, AI in healthcare delivery, smart systems for sustainable outcomes, building inclusive cultures and futureproofing talent, as well as leadership under pressure.”

  • Collaboration in Medtech Award: Deciphex, Institute for Clinical Trials University of Galway, and MET Technology Gateway (Atlantic Technological University)
  • Medtech Partner/Supplier of the Year: ICS Medical Devices, Lawrence Engineering, and West Pharmaceutical Services Inc
  • Best Talent Strategy in Medtech: Boston Scientific Ireland Ltd, Stryker, and West Pharmaceuticals Services Inc
  • Sustainable Medtech Company of the Year: BD Medical, Boston Scientific, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Ireland, and Surmodics.
