Irish business welcome new Primary Education Curriculum

Ibec, the group representing Irish business, welcomes the first major reform of the primary education curriculum in 25 years, particularly the increased focus on foreign languages, STEM, climate sustainability and wellbeing.

Ibec’s Head of Education and Innovation Policy, Claire McGee said: “These are positive and significant developments for primary education in Ireland.  It will help inspire a new generation of open, curious, engaged and resilient citizens. All of which are crucial for an outward-looking, future-focussed knowledge economy that works for the benefit of society.”
