Ibec Budget Campaign - meeting our competitiveness challenges

September 13, 2021

The latest CEO Update to Ibec membership from Danny McCoy

Dear member,

Today we launched our Budget 2022 Campaign that calls on Government to focus on the continued competitiveness of the private sector to ensure we have the resources available to meet our ambitions on infrastructure, climate and societal needs.

We will engage with key stakeholders across society and politics in this short window leading to Budget Day. As always, we ask individual businesses to support these priorities and to use every opportunity to voice them, to build consensus within our communities and to fly in sequence.

Members of the Ibec Board and I will reiterate these points in our upcoming meeting with Ministers Paschal Donohoe and Michael McGrath and we will be engaging extensively with other Ministers and TDs right across the country over the coming weeks.

Please find attached the full submission attached below, along with a slide deck with key messages to support you in what I hope to be a collective endeavour in the run up to October 12.

Best wishes,

Danny McCoy,
CEO, Ibec
