Pauline O’Hare is a graduate of University College Dublin, where she obtained a Bachelor of Civil Laws degree and a Masters in Commercial Law. Pauline previously worked in private practice before joining Ibec’s Employment Law Services team where she advises employers on both contentious and non-contentious matters. Pauline specialises in employment law and industrial relations and a key part of her role is engaging with stakeholders on policy matters at both a national and EU level.

Mairead Crosby Regional Director, Ibec South East

Mairead Crosby is the Regional Director of Ibec South East where she advises employers on industrial relations, HR and employment law matters including representing employers at the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) and the Labour Court. She joined Ibec’s Employer Relations division in 2010 before moving to the Mid-West in 2014 as Regional Director until she joined the South East team in 2023.
Mairead’s experience includes leading transformational change, such as organisational effectiveness, growth and downsizing. Mairead holds a Bachelor of Science (Human Resource Management) from DIT and an MBA from SETU.

He is a graduate of NUI Galway, where he obtained Bachelor of Industrial Engineering and Bachelor of Laws degrees, and a Masters in Law, Technology & Governance. Harry has worked extensively in private practice as a specialist employment law solicitor.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor Harry built up ten years industry experience working as an engineer across a variety of sectors and for a number of leading multinational companies and brings this considerable experience to bear in the management of complex workplace and organisational issues.

Tom Hayes
Tom Hayes Executive Director, BEERG

Tom Hayes is the Executive Director of BEERG, which he founded in 2002. With a career in industrial relations since 1972, he has worked as a trade union official, personnel director, and consultant. Since the early 1990s, he has specialised in European Works Councils, advising multinational companies on EWC agreements and employee relations strategy. Tom holds a B.A. from University College Dublin and has lectured on industrial relations. He is co-editor of Practical Employment Law and co-author of several publications on dismissal law, EWCs, and global collective bargaining.
