Ibec are delighted to have Minister Humphreys join us to launch the charter alongside our CEO, Danny McCoy.

The Charter recognises the key role that business can play in tackling the issues of long-term unemployment and youth activation by helping make that crucial link to employment. Employers who commit to the charter will consider engaging on different activation measures such as considering candidates who are further from the labour market e.g. those on the live register, people with disabilities etc.; hosting internships or mentoring for job seekers; or even offering motivational talks or job search and interview skills. We know that you are already doing great work in this area, and as such we would love to invite you to come along and engage with other employers at the event.
