Employee probationary periods will be limited under new law to be introduced in August

Due to be transposed by 1 August 2022, EU Directive 2019/1152, on Transparent and Predictable Working Conditions includes a six-month limit on probationary periods, the right of an employee to request to be transferred to a form of work with more predictable and secure working conditions and a ban on exclusivity clauses.
