HERD was founded in 2021 by Robert Mee. Inspired by his childhood experiences on his parents’ farm, Robert’s passion for sustainable farming practices and high-quality food led him to establish HERD Butchery. Most of the products on offer are sourced directly from local farmers and producers allowing HERD to provide customers with high quality traceable food. Covid was an exceptionally hard time for any business in travel, and it was during this time again, that the business re invented itself. Most of their employees now work from home, with some based all over the world in Spain, Canada, South Africa and Scotland, they believe in having a very happy workforce and have embraced change in the new world. Having a raving fan club of clients is very important, and all the staff know that customer service comes first, with a NPS of 80, the customer feedback is most important.
