Ministers of State and Opposition Spokespeople Appointed
Last week the Government announced the Ministers of State who will be supporting Senior Ministers in each Government Department. The Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Trade has two Ministers of State who will support Minister Peter Burke, TD. They are Alan Dillon (Fine Gael), TD who is responsible for Small Business and Retail & Circular Economy and Niamh Smyth (Fianna Fail), TD who is responsible for Trade Promotion, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation.
On the opposition benches, Sinn Fein’s new spokesperson for Enterprise Tourism & Employment is Rose Conway Walsh. George Lawlor is Labour’s spokesperson on Enterprise Tourism & Employment while Sinead Gibney is the Social Democrats Spokesperson on Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation; Enterprise, Tourism and Employment; Foreign Affairs and Trade; and Defence.
