Gender Pay Gap Reporting
The Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021 introduced the legislative basis for gender pay gap reporting in Ireland. This Act requires organisations to report on their hourly gender pay gap across a range of metrics. The number of employees in an organisation will determine when they are required to report on the gender pay gap in the organisation. Reporting began in 2022 for employers with more than 250 employees and was expanded to employers with more than 150 employees in 2024. In 2025, employers with more than 50 employees will be required to report on their gender pay gaps. Small Businesses (50 employees or less) are NOT required to report on their gender pay gaps.
