WRC Ruling Highlights Employer Duties Around Reasonable Accommodations
A recent WRC decision provides an important reminder of employers’ obligations to actively support employees on their return to work. This case highlights that where reasonable accommodations are required to support a return to work, employers leave themselves exposed to a Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) claim under the Equality Acts if they do not properly engage.
