New Retirement Legislation enacted but rollout dependent on Code of Practice
On the 16th of December 2025, the Employment (Contractual Retirement Ages) Act 2025 was signed into law by the President of Ireland. However, this piece of legislation still requires a commencement order form the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to officially go into effect.
