The SFA is delighted to announce our taxation webinar series supported by PKF O’Connor, Leddy and Holmes. This is a great opportunity for you to be informed about a particular area of tax that is relevant to you and your business. Topics to be covered include valuation and tax considerations for selling a business, Revenue update, PAYE, corporate tax, BIK and company loans.

Exiting Your Business – Valuation and Tax Considerations Webinar

The first webinar of the series Exiting your business – valuation and tax considerations will be delivered by PKF O’Connor, Leddy and Holmes’ Catherine McGovern, Tax Partner. and David Lucas, Corporate Finance Partner.

David Lucas will discuss methods in valuing your business to prepare for sale to a third party, management buyout or family. He will also provide insight on points to consider now in getting ready for a future disposal.

Catherine McGovern will present on how to structure your business tax efficiently now and how to prepare for a disposal to maximise tax reliefs and avoid pitfalls. This will include a discussion on the tax reliefs that may be available to you and the conditions to be met. Catherine will also discuss how your family members may take over your business tax efficiently.

Tax Health Check and Revenue Update Webinar

In this 30-minute webinar, Catherine McGovern, Tax Partner, PKF O’Connor, Leddy and Holmes, provides SFA members with key points to review in a Tax Health Check and Revenue update.

This webinar will provide attendees with information to review whether PAYE and Corporate Tax are being calculated and accounted correctly within the business. E.g. Benefit in Kind, Salary Sacrifice, Employee v Self Employed status, Director loans, Employees working outside Ireland, Corporate Tax deductions for pensions, taxation of investment income etc.

Catherine will also provide an update and examples of stronger enforcement actions taken by Revenue in recent years and other Revenue/Tax updates.
