Joe is the SFA HR Executive with Ibec, specialising in providing businesses with accessible, practical and legally robust support across HR and employment law matters. In this role, he advises member companies on a wide range of workplace issues and challenges, contributes to the development of SFA guidance materials and content initiatives, and supports the delivery of events that helps members stay informed and confident in managing their workforce.
Before joining the SFA, Joe gained extensive experience in employment law, industrial relations and member support as an Employer Relations Executive in Ibec’s Mid‑West region, representing employers at the Workplace Relations Commission and advising a diverse portfolio of member companies. He holds a Certificate in Employment Law from TU Dublin and a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in HR and Leadership from University College Cork.
A highly experienced and competent senior risk consultant with over two decades of experience in global risk management. Leo has gained extensive experience advising Governments, large multinational PLCs, high-net-worth individuals and local companies on corporate risk through an Enterprise Risk Management approach.
Having worked for several years in the Irish industry as a risk consultant, he relocated to East Africa, where he undertakes extensive risk and compliance functions in the fields of Corporate Security, Oil and Gas, Mining, Technology and FMCG industries. Specialising in the alignment of risk activities and ISO 31000:2018, including business risk management, risk assessments, developing risk frameworks and reviewing control effectiveness.
Leo served in the Irish Defence Forces for 21 years, spending a large portion in the Tier 1: Army Ranger Wing.
Strong academic qualifications support this experience, and Leo has been awarded a D.SyRM from the University of Portsmouth and an MSc in Business Risk Management from the University of Southampton, home to the Risk Research Centre. He is a fellow of the Institute of Risk Management and holds a BSc in Occupational Health and Safety from University College Dublin. He is a chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and holds a Diploma in Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit from the Chartered Accountants of Ireland. Leo also studied at Cambridge University, where he undertook an executive programme in Strategic Decision Making.
Leo currently sits on several international advisory committees, including ISO 262 on Risk Management, ISO 292 on Security and Resilience, where he contributes as a technical advisor. His operational experience includes the development of ERM programmes, management strategies, crisis management planning, and the creation of business resilience.
Eamonn joined Profitsflow in early 2018 as Project Manager and brings years of experience to the role. Eamonn provides project plans and training to all Profitsflow customers to make sure that their ERP solution is delivered on time.
