Launch of ‘Employment Permits Online’
Employment Permits Online was launched on 28 April.
The new system introduces a portal space with separate and individual accounts for both employers, employees and agents, making it easier to get up-to-date information on the status of applications. It also provides individual users with more ownership over the management of their accounts. All employment permit applications will now be jointly completed by the parties involved, the employer and prospective employee (as well as the appointed agent, if applicable). The employee will directly provide the personal information relevant to themselves, with the employer completing the fields relevant to their sections of the application.
