Eligibility Criteria
MentorsWork is a mentoring and learning initiative designed for SME owner-managers and leadership teams across all industries in Ireland. Private sector businesses based in Ireland with between 1 and 250 employees are eligible to participate in MentorsWork.
Certain businesses are not eligible to participate in MentorsWork:
- Private sector businesses with over 250 employees
- Public sector organisations
- Charity or not-for-profit organisations
- Businesses based outside the Republic of Ireland
Note: Eligibility is based on programme criteria and may be subject to funding availability and demand at the time of application.
MentorsWork is supported by Skillnet Ireland. Skillnet Ireland is mandated to support private sector enterprise.
The Small Firms Association (SFA), part of Ibec, is the recognised voice of small business in Ireland, representing companies with 50 employees or fewer across every sector.
As a trusted partner to small business owners, the SFA provides practical advice, policy influence and a strong sense of community. Through direct engagement with government, media and EU bodies, the SFA actively advocates for a supportive economic environment where small businesses can survive, compete and grow.

Skillnet Ireland is the national agency responsible for workforce development through enterprise-led training. Supported by the Government of Ireland, it helps businesses across all sectors to upskill their teams and build future-ready capabilities.
