As the leading organisation in its field, ALI lobbies government, policymakers, and other key stakeholders with evidence-based policies designed to positively shape business conditions and drive economic growth.
Our agenda includes maintaining Ireland’s competitive tax and regulatory framework, expansion of the Double Taxation Treaty Network, and updating of existing network with a focus on quality and relevance of provisions. The ALI Tax Committee drives our tax policy agenda. Reporting to the ALI Council, its chairperson is Yvonne Devereux, VP Tax, AerCap.
We are ambitious for the future of aircraft leasing, embracing the sustainability challenge while continuing to enable connectivity and economic growth. ALI and its members are committed to driving ESG initiatives across aircraft leasing and the wider aviation industry. ALI’s activities on sustainability are guided through its ALI Sustainability Committee. Reporting to the ALI Council, its chairperson is Alison O' Connor, Vice President Sustainability, Avolon.
Technical Asset Management is a cornerstone of the aircraft leasing industry. The ALI Technical Committee acts as a unified voice for the industry. Through active engagement with regulators, Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) providers, and wider stakeholders. Reporting to the ALI Council, it's chairperson is Aoife Fennell, Chief Technical Officer ELFC.
ALI has an independent policy mandate, steered by the ALI Council which is composed of member representatives.
