With employee relations becoming ever more complex, obtaining advice from a qualified practitioner is becoming increasingly important in many circumstances. Legislation is constantly being amended, updated and new rulings are frequently issued.  All of this can leave even the most experienced human resources professionals challenged to remain up to date with trends as well as the multiplicity of emerging case law and precedent.

Ibec has a team of experienced solicitors and employer relations executives specialising in employment law and industrial relations.  We advise and represent our member companies in complex industrial relations disputes, employment rights and equality matters.  A dedicated employer relations executive from our advocacy team will represent member companies before the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) and the Labour Court. For cases of a particular legal complexity, a member of our legal team will work with you alongside our advocacy team at no additional cost.

In addition to directly supporting our member companies and delivering briefing sessions on employment relations matters,  we are actively engaged, as the key business stakeholder, in lobbying on employment policy both nationally and at European level.
