PII welcomes appointment of Housing Commission Chair

Property Industry Ireland (PII), the Ibec group for businesses working in the property sector, today welcomed the appointment of Mr. John O’Connor as Chair designate of the Commission on Housing.
 
PII Director, Dr. David Duffy stated: “As Chief Executive of the Housing Agency, John O’Connor brings extensive knowledge, experience and ideas to the role. PII look forward to working with him as Chair of the Housing Commission.

“The housing system in Ireland, as it is in other countries, is complex with a wide range of perspectives and stakeholders. PII would like to see the Commission bring together a broad range of perspectives, as well as fostering collaboration between the capacity and experience of the both public and private sector to contribute to the various solutions.”
