Ibec announces new flagship Cork office

Ibec, the group that represents Irish business, is pleased to announce the opening of a new flagship office in Cork City, in early 2021.  
 
Ibec COO Liam O’Donoghue said: “This is a momentous and exciting new chapter in the history of Ibec. We are delighted to announce that we will be opening a new flagship office in the heart of Cork City at Penrose Dock in the early months of 2021.  
 
“Ibec’s strategic vision is to be an organisation of substantial influence and impact wherever our members do business. This announcement signals our intent to invest in Ibec’s regional activity, further enhancing our footprint in the regional economies and showcasing our ambition in bringing forward ambitious policies to make our regions amongst the most liveable in the world.” 
 
Sean Moran, Ibec’s Cork Regional President and Sanmina VP & Fermoy Plant Manager welcomed the announcement, saying: “While Ibec has had a positive presence in Cork for a number of decades now, today’s announcement of the opening of a new office is an exciting development for both the city and the wider county and region. These new, state of the art offices will enhance our capacity to further support the growth ambitions of the regional economy.” 

Ibec’s new flagship regional headquarters will ensure that Ibec remains centrally connected to the enterprise and business developments of the city, county and wider region.
